Antique Skeleton Key + Organic Cotton Cord Bracelets - 2 CORD - One Size - Handmade - Eco-Friendly - Certified Organic - FREE SHIPPING

▪▪▪ The Bracelets ▪▪▪

Our newest style of bracelet features the cutest tiny skeleton keys. They were padlock keys, furniture keys, trunk keys, and more! I found all of these keys at a giant flea market in Massachusetts - they are all authentic, no craft store reproductions. A few of them even have engraving from the companies that made them.

All of the little keys are gently held in place with high-quality and super soft certified organic cotton cord. The cord is an 1mm, 8-strand tubular braid (not twisted), which provides firmness, shape, and durability without being stiff. They are so soft and comfortable! These make great bracelets OR you can wear one as an anklet!

ORGANIC COTTON - Why organic cotton cord? Organic cotton is good for the environment because it only takes about 10% of the amount of water used to grow standard cotton (90% more water is used when diluting chemical fertilizers and pesticides). Chemicals are also prohibited throughout the dying process and the dye bath is recycled and returned to the environment after use. It is unwaxed, which means no petroleum based products are needed to make this product. The cotton was grown in Turkey, braided in the USA, and is certified organic.

KEYS - Choose your style! I have sorted the tiny skeleton keys into 5 different styles, so even though every key will be different, you'll have a general idea of the type of key you're getting. Some will be rusty, some cleaner, some steel, some brass - but all cool. All keys will be between .5" and 1.5" long. If you have a more specific key preference, just let me know!

COLORS - So excited to finally have some color in the shop! I have 10 beautiful chemical-free colors from which to choose. If you'd like 2 different colors on one bracelet, please select "2 COLORS (add note)" on the cord color menu and tell me your two colors in a "note to seller" at checkout.

SIZE - These are "one size fits most" bracelets. When fully expanded, they are approx. 4" in diameter. They easily adjust to your exact size. The slide is antiqued silver-finished brass. If you feel you may need a larger size, just let me know. If you try it on and want the bracelet to be smaller, you can simply trim the ends & re-tie the knots!

FREE SHIPPING - Every order is wrapped and packed into a 6" x 6" stay-flat mailer for easy and fast shipping. These make AMAZING gifts! If you are sending a few as a gift, I can even include a hand-written note from you to the recipient.

We know it's hard to buy jewelry, especially a ring, without trying it on. Because of this, we do our best to measure the size of each ring so you can find one that fits you. If you aren't sure what size you are, please take a look at this PDF that has the "string" method instructions and a chart for finding your ring size on any finger: We do not "officially" recommend trying to resize rings since there is a chance resizing could damage the powder-coated layer or crack the metal - but it is possible for small adjustments. Attempted re-sizing will make a ring non-returnable / exchangable.

If you like a certain style in our shop, but we don't have one in your exact size, just send us a message and we'll work with you to pick out a similar style of key (or the closest available). Once we decide on your perfect key, we'll make it especially for you, in your preferred size, for no additional charge!

We can hand stamp anything you like on any custom order (not on already shaped rings). How does it work? Send us a message with the size you'd like, a style of key you'd prefer (if there is one) and what you'd like it to say (capital letters, numbers 0-9, and the & sign are available). We'll then send you a picture of the keys that would work for you to choose from. All engraving (unlimited characters) is just $5 extra.

These keys are old! Many of them were at least partially covered in rust before we polished and fired them, leaving beautiful pitting that can only come with real age. Though the rust and dirt have been vanquished, the signs of their past existence remain. Do remember, however, that our pictures are taken at extremely close-up angles to show you the details of the product. Some of the tiny details you might see (dust particles, scratches, pitting, patina, etc) in the pictures may not be visible to the naked eye.

Because we want them to last a long time, all of our antique key rings are powder-coated! This is an environmentally friendly, electrostratically applied, professional grade, extremely durable polymer clear-coat that uniformly covers the whole ring! Along with protection from scratches, elements, and wear, it gives each ring a smooth feel and a slightly glossy finish. They will NOT turn your finger weird colors!

Even if you know you are sensitive to metals or if you've had problems with jewelry on your skin in the past, our rings will be just fine! All of our rings are either steel or brass, but since each one of our rings is powder-coated, your skin never actually comes into contact with the metal itself. Sensitive skinned people can wear our rings with no problems.

In addition to selling here on Etsy, I also do 4-5 markets per month. This means the rings listed here do move quickly, so if you see one you want it is very likely that it won't be around in the shop for long. Each one is one-of-a-kind, so be sure to purchase your favorites today!

Help TKH give a goat to a family in need! In countries like Haiti and Kenya, goats nourish a family with protein-rich milk, cheese, and yogurt, and can offer a much-needed income boost by providing offspring and extra dairy products for sale at the market. They even provide fertilizer that can dramatically increase crop yields! At TKH, we commit a percentage of our profits to purchasing goats through Heifer International, a humanitarian organization dedicated to ending world hunger and poverty ( If only we could give kettles too!
